Campus Programs
- Jump Start - A peer mentoring program dedicated to connecting students of various backgrounds, interests, and perspectives. By providing them with a trained mentor for their critical first year. The program works to establish positive academic, social, and cultural networks.
- Social Justice Institute - An educational workshop for faculty and staff to build more inclusive opportunities across campus.
- Bearcat Book Club - A book club for faculty and staff meets bi-weekly to discuss social justice and inclusion books.
- JEDI - Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (J.E.D.I.) is a three-level co-curricular program for students that encompasses a series of learning experiences to facilitate self-awareness and identity development, understanding of diverse cultural experiences, and advocacy to reduce structural inequities.
- Bobby's Shop - (Barbershop) Visit the Office Diversity and Inclusion inside the Student Engagement Center at the J.W. Jones Student Union for more information and to sign up for an appointment.
- H.O.T. Topics with LT - Honest, Open, and Transparent (H.O.T.) discussions will be held in the ODI Space, where students will discuss important current events that may impact them and our community.
- Safe Zone - A program that builds safe space across campus by visibly identifying students, staff, and faculty who support the LGBTQ+ population.
- 'I See You' - A resource program made possible through collaboration among Northwest's Office of Diversity and Inclusion alongside The Lions Club, Maryville. 'I See You' strives to improve Bearcats' access to eye tests and prescription glasses.
